Red Shield Youth Center of Texarkana: We introduced the kids to toad in a hole (eggs in a basket) and cayenne pepper candied maple bacon during our a Christmas Camp thanks to Just Love & Kindness. They got to help prepare it and of course eat it. They were able to choose fried or scrambled eggs then one kid said, “Mrs. Chasity I think you cooked hers wrong, it’s runny!” well we then got to talk about the difference between fried and scrambled eggs while I “fixed” her runny egg to make it scrambled instead of the fried one she originally ordered.
I guess I didn’t get pictures of the bacon… it was gone pretty fast!
