The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club of Texarkana Christmas Camp was a success.
Building character early in life is so important, these precious kids packed 2 pallets of food to bless 90 Sr. citizens. These kids will never meet the recipients, but their hard work will rest within their social conscience.
Red Shield Youth Center of Texarkana: The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club of Texarkana giving back to the community. We took time from our Christmas Camp to teach the kids about Harvest Texarkana Food Bank and how they help distribute food to businesses, schools, and churches in our area for those in need. As a TEAM we packed 2 full pallets (90 senior meal boxes) to be distributed. Each child had a job and and even helped others when they got behind. This was a wonderful experience for our club kids and will only be the start of many trips to the food bank to help others.
